In her extensive corporate career with IBM Canada, Ltd., Gayla was a key manager and team leader in major internal organizational changes driven by new technologies. She leveraged her talents in people management, facilitation and technical skills to integrate new technologies to create new career opportunities throughout the organization. She was recognized for her business goal achievements with an IBM Special Contribution Award, international speaking engagements, and several IBM 100% Club Awards. While living in Arizona, Gayla managed Distributor Support and Services at the international headquarters of an Arizona-based developer of performance diagnostics – Target Training International Ltd. During her four-year career at TTI, she applied her diverse talents in coaching, communication, writing, product and curriculum development, facilitation, webinar delivery, certification testing, and consultative expertise to contribute to the company's growth throughout North America. In addition, she continued to pursue extensive professional development in leading-edge performance assessments, including the Hartman Value Profile. A Strategic Partner with Houston Partners International, Gayla continues to support major workplace change through successful talent management processes. Her professional qualifications in a variety of performance assessments are a key component in her work with HPI’s clients worldwide.

Gayla holds a Bachelors degree in Humanities and Arts from the University of Utah. She has completed extensive graduate work in French literature, and formal education in IBM & Xerox Sales and Marketing, IBM Management, Teaching English as a Second Language, Adult Education Curriculum Development, and numerous performance diagnostics. Gayla defines herself as a lifelong, eclectic learner in a wide variety of subjects spanning business and the humanities.
