Laura is Senior Vice-President of The Amini Group Ltd., a consulting firm specializing in leadership and management development, facilitation and consulting, effective hiring and retention, team building and mid to high level management coaching. She is also a Senior Strategic Partner at HPI. Laura is focused on performance improvement and leadership development for individuals and organizations. She advises managers and leaders in all sectors in the functional areas of leadership development, performance improvement, customer service, communication, team building, stimulating creative thinking, strategic planning, project management and public speaking.
With more than 25 years of instructional experience and best known for her dynamic speaking style, Laura is an entertaining facilitator. Using analogies, real world examples and current industry issues, she is able to engage any audience, as well as capture the attention of those individuals she coaches one-on-one. Laura’s diverse background includes work in telecommunications, service and manufacturing industries, childhood and adult education and government. She develops and facilitates customized workshops and seminars. Using humor and wit, Laura helps audiences get in touch with their creative side through exercises and experiences that not only encourage innovative thinking, but also generate new ideas.
Laura earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from the University of Arizona and is completing her Master's in Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing and Communication. She has a Lifetime Teaching Certificate from the Maricopa Community College Board and is an adjunct professor for Arizona Government University and Rio Salado College.
