Todd Tande brings more than 25 years of successful turnaround, mergers, restructuring and change management experience in State and Local Government and the Aerospace and Defense industries to Education Connection Solutions, LLC.
Prior to co-founding ECS, a management consulting and training company specializing in turnaround and change management including providing Lean Six Sigma process improvement training, program deployments, and project management, Todd served as the Deputy Director and COO for the State of Indiana’s Department of Natural Resources.
Todd also has served as Finance Director at the State of Indiana where he was responsible for Statewide Financial Reporting including the State’s General Ledger Book of Record and Asset Management. He also served six years as CFO with the City of Indianapolis-Marion County, Indiana. In California, Todd served in a Senior Policy Management role in the Orange County Executive Office during the County’s successful bankruptcy recovery and welfare reform implementation efforts. He also served as Budget Chief for the Orange County General Services Agency and the Orange County Public Library and Santiago Library Systems.
Todd’s private industry background and experience includes international mergers and acquisitions, operational management and organizational restructurings, BRAC privatization, GPS Satellite production project management, SEC reporting, competitor analysis, and financial and strategic plan roles with major companies such as Raytheon Company, Hughes Aircraft Technical Services Company, Rockwell International, Knott’s Berry Farm and Resort (now Cedar Fair Entertainment Company), and the Walt Disney Company.
Todd received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration along with his Master of Business Administration from California State Polytechnic University. Todd is a national conference speaker on Excellence in State Government, and is also certified in Lean Six Sigma process improvement. |
